The company has invested in the latest technologies available on the market for grinding, balancing and test data acquisition for the maintenance of this type of engine. The company has also adapted both its 52,500m2 engine shop, specialized in V2500, CFM56 and RB211, and its test bench, both located in Madrid, to GTF engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/10\/jordan-iberias-new-destination.html\">Jordan, Iberia\u2019s new destination.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new contract demonstrates Iberia Maintenance&#8217;s high level of experience, competence and ability to adapt to new market demands. Obtaining the certification to be able to perform maintenance on GTF engines is a strategic step to expand the company&#8217;s scope of activity and service the new generation of engines that will power the aircraft fleet in the coming decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are very proud that Pratt &amp; Whitney has trusted Iberia Maintenance and has designated us as a certified center to perform maintenance on GTF engines. This is a strategic step in the development of our engine business, which will allow us to consolidate our position as a service provider in short-haul fleets, while ensuring the continuity of our
