The Spanish airline Binter <\/strong>announced this Friday that it has signed with the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer the purchase of five new E195-E2 <\/strong>aircraft, which will be added to the five that the company already has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canary Islands airline made this announcement at an aeronautical conference entitled “New ways of flying” that it is holding in San Bartolom\u00e9 de Tirajana (Gran Canaria) with journalists from the sector from different destinations to which Binter flies, EFE reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new general coordinator of the company, Santiago Guerra, explained to the attendees that the closed agreement exceeds 389 million dollars and that the first two units are scheduled to arrive in the Canary Islands in November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“One month later, in December, we will receive the other two; and the last one in April 2024”, said Guerra, who added that the Canary Islands airline was the first European airline to fly with this aircraft model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The experience acquired in these years confirms the excellent valuation that our customers make of this aircraft model, which fits very well with Binter’s longest routes and those with the highest passenger volume; and the arrival of new jets will allow us to expand the offer of routes and destinations that we have right now”, said Binter’s general coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
