Air Canada<\/strong> announced Thursday three new routes to the U.S., including service from Toronto and Montreal to New York JFK International Airport, and the Toronto to Sacramento route, as part of its summer 2023 cross-border program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new daily services from Toronto and Montreal to New York-JFK will begin March 26 and will be operated by Air Canada Express with Embraer E175 aircraft, configured to carry 76 passengers in Business and Economy class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toronto-Sacramento route will start in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By summer 2023, the airline will also reinstate 11 suspended cross-border services and increase frequencies on 12 routes to the U.S. as it rebuilds its global network in the wake of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Air Canada is pleased to offer customers the largest offering of any airline flying to the United States in the summer of 2023, where we will operate more than 400 daily flights on 95 routes to 47 destinations,” said Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Senior Vice President, Network Planning and Revenue Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada consolidates its leadership as the largest international carrier operating in the New York market, offering more than 3,500 seats on 39 daily flights from six Canadian cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax) to New York’s three major airports (JFK, Newark, LaGuardia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
