{"id":135453,"date":"2023-01-07T20:01:45","date_gmt":"2023-01-07T20:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=135453"},"modified":"2023-01-07T20:01:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-07T20:01:52","slug":"two-people-found-lifeless-in-landing-gear-of-an-avianca-aircraft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2023\/01\/two-people-found-lifeless-in-landing-gear-of-an-avianca-aircraft.html","title":{"rendered":"Two people found lifeless in landing gear of an Avianca aircraft"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Two people were found lifeless this Friday in the right and left main gear compartment of an<strong> Avianca<\/strong> aircraft that landed in Bogota at 19:55 from Santiago de Chile, when it was about to perform regulatory maintenance on the landing gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last flights operated by the aircraft, an Airbus A320, were Bogota-Sao Paulo (Brazil) on Thursday, January 5, Sao Paulo-Bogota in the early morning of January 6. That same day it took off for Santiago de Chile and returned to Bogota in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/01\/avianca-transported-more-than-24-6-million-passengers-in-2022.html\">Avianca transported more than 24.6 million passengers in 2022<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;According to the information gathered, two people were found lifeless in the landing gear of the aircraft when the maintenance inspection was being performed. The CTI of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office assumed the technical procedures for the removal of the bodies and their corresponding transfer,&#8221; said the Civil Aeronautics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its part, Avianca stated that &#8220;as part of its security processes before the start of each flight, it inspects the aircraft and its perimeter. In turn, airport security, control of restricted areas and control of the airport perimeter is the responsibility of airport authorities and administrators&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authorities initiated an investigation to determine the origin of the people found lifeless in the plane, as well as to establish their identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"
