At FITUR, Iberia<\/strong> will showcase some of the main new features its customers will be able to enjoy this year. The company’s 600-square-meter stand will be a great place for visitors to enjoy experiences, as well as a meeting center that will be used to sign a number of agreements, especially with Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greater comfort, privacy and spaciousness in the new A350 aircraft<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large part of the stand will be dedicated to this new aircraft model. Iberia was the first airline to receive A350 aircraft with the new Airbus standard. These are new generation aircraft, equipped with the latest technology and designed to fly with maximum efficiency. This new generation A350 incorporates operational improvements at low speed; in addition, the aircraft’s empty weight has been reduced by one ton, which, together with the fact that it is built with the most sustainable materials on the market and equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, reduces fuel consumption and emissions by 35%. The aircraft offers greater spaciousness and privacy in all classes – Economy, Economy Premium and Business – as well as state-of-the-art in-flight connectivity and entertainment, and new lighting environments. A set of improvements that will make the flight experience more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Iberia to grow in Latin America and launch new cabins in 2023<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors who come to FITUR will be able to try out the new seats in a space that imitates the aircraft cabin, enjoy an appetizer that shows part of the gastronomic menu and see first-hand the new in-flight entertainment, which incorporates the latest Panasonic technology, a more interactive and intuitive design, 4K resolution screens, which are now larger in Premium Economy and Economy, and which allow for Bluetooth pairing of wireless headphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking the controls of an airplane<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand will feature a flight simulation booth where anyone who wants to can take the controls of an airplane virtually for a few minutes. With the help of a professional, you will have the opportunity to experience the sensation of flying an aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand will also have several meeting rooms, a cafeteria and a merchandising area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A firm commitment to sustainability and positive social impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability is one of Iberia’s pillars, as evidenced by the fact that the airline’s stand, for the fourth consecutive year, has once again opted for sustainable materials for its construction and decoration, including recycled fabrics and natural plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, in this edition Iberia wants to show the important positive social impact of the company. The personal stories of a transplanted person, a refugee or a tourist will exemplify how the activity of the Iberia Group contributes to the welfare, the generation of wealth and employment and to maintain the connectivity of Spain and its inhabitants with the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As every year, the Iberia stand will be in Hall 10, stand C-02, North entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
