Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas <\/strong>advanced some of the numbers that will be part of its 2022 Management Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During last year, the airline received 65% of the 72 billion pesos allocated by the State. In other words, it used 47 billion pesos or 353,147,000 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This figure means a reduction of almost 50% with respect to the contributions used during 2021 when it received US$ 644,531,000 from the State, as reported by the airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Aerolineas Argentinas to incorporate two Boeing 737-800 freighters<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“These results reflect the effort we have been making to continue reducing the contributions from the State and to cover our expenses with our own revenues. This is great news because we were able to do it in a complex macroeconomic context”, explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, for 2023, transfers from the treasury will amount to US$ 412,000,000, a reduction of US$ 102 million with respect to the budget projected for 2022. In real terms, for 2023 and in pesos, the projected contribution would be 90 billion. That is, 26% above 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this year, contributions to the airline will represent 0.31% of the State Budget, while in 2019 it was 0.48%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, ticket sales figures were released: the company earned 1,864 million dollars in the last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, 11,670,000 passengers were carried throughout the network of 38 destinations, 48 interprovincial routes and 21 international destinations. According to projections for 2023, the airline aims to surpass the historical mark of 13,000,000 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
