LATAM Airlines <\/strong>announced on Monday that it will increase its seat offer in Brazil by 35% during Carnival 2023. In February 2023, the airline has scheduled nearly 2,600 domestic and international flights per week, surpassing the 1,860 weekly flights carried out in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director, the company continues to invest to offer a complete and robust air network to its customers. “For this Carnival we will reinforce routes operated mainly from S\u00e3o Paulo (Congonhas and Guarulhos) that expand connectivity options to other domestic and international destinations.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, LATAM expects to carry more than 600,000 passengers in Brazil during Carnival week. Compared to February 2022, in the same month of 2023 the company will have expanded routes from Congonhas airport to Rio de Janeiro\/Santos Dumont (from 90 to 157 weekly flights), Navegantes (from 22 to 44 weekly flights), Vit\u00f3ria (from 24 to 43 weekly flights), Belo Horizonte\/Confins (from 33 to 51 weekly flights), Brasilia (from 53 to 67 weekly flights), Curitiba (from 39 to 53 weekly flights), Florian\u00f3polis (from 29 to 42 weekly flights), Porto Seguro (from 7 to 19 weekly flights) and Porto Alegre (from 45 to 55 weekly flights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Guarulhos airport, the increase will be seen on routes to Santiago (from 20 to 47 weekly flights), Belo Horizonte\/Confins (from 27 to 50 weekly flights), Curitiba (from 31 to 47 weekly flights), Porto Alegre (from 47 to 61 weekly flights), Bel\u00e9m (from 13 to 24 weekly flights), Aracaju (from 10 to 20 weekly flights) and Londrina (from 10 to 19 weekly flights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM currently flies to 54 Brazilian airports, the largest number of domestic destinations in its history in the country, and is preparing to start operations in Passo Fundo (RS) in March of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the international market, the company continues to be the airline that most connects Brazil with the world, with 21 direct destinations. This year, LATAM has already announced that it will start operations to Johannesburg and Los Angeles, the latter being the first effective delivery to the Brazilian market of its Joint Venture with Delta, finally approved in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
