CH-Aviation, based in Sweden, recognized SKY<\/strong> as the airline with the newest fleet of aircraft in South America for the third consecutive year. In addition to this award, SKY was also recognized as having the fourth newest fleet in the world, with an average age of only 2.94 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award recognizes airlines that maintain young, modern and efficient fleets, which contribute to a significant reduction in emissions, while achieving better fuel consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SKY’s fleet consists of 28 aircraft in total: 25 A320neo and 3 A321neo, which fly both in Peru and Chile. It emits 30% less CO2, 50% less NOX (Nitrogen Oxides) and 50% less noise pollution compared to the previous generation of aircraft, making it one of the most environmentally friendly airlines in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this technology, in the last 10 years, SKY has managed to reduce its CO2 emissions per seat by approximately 64%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
