U.S. manufacturer Boeing <\/strong>announced Wednesday that in fiscal 2022 it increased its losses by 17.44% year-on-year, to $4.935 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement released Wednesday, the company disclosed that it had a cumulative annual turnover of $66.608 billion, up 7% year-on-year in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boeing president and CEO Dave Calhoun considered 2022 an “important year” in the company’s recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Demand across our portfolio is solid and we remain focused on driving stability in our operations and within the supply chain to meet our commitments in 2023 and beyond.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We generated more than $3 billion of free cash flow in the fourth quarter, driven by our performance progress and strong demand. This helped us generate positive free cash flow for the full year for the first time since 2018, an important metric in our recovery,” Calhoun added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is producing 31 737s per month and plans to increase to about 50 per month by 2025 or 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Boeing said it will increase what has been a low production rate of 787 Dreamliners to five each month by the end of the year and to 10 per month by 2025 or 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
