One year after the launching of Arajet<\/strong>, the Dominican airline has become the airline with the highest flow in 6 months of operations, transporting more than 150 thousand passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victor Pacheco Mendez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, informed that the airline has shown a remarkable growth being part of the development of Dominican aviation and collaborating to boost tourism by attracting more tourists to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Arajet began operations with ultra-low fares and brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which has allowed us to offer the lowest fares in the entire region and allow Dominicans to get to know interesting destinations that have been little explored,” said Pacheco M\u00e9ndez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He expressed that after the start of ticket sales last August, the airline began operations on September 15, initiating the rebirth of Dominican aviation achieving the milestone of opening 18 destinations in just 3 months; and they are waiting for the Dominican State to sign open skies with the United States to start flights to that country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arajet received its first Boeing aircraft in March 2022, which was named Pico Duarte, in honor of the Dominican Republic’s patrician and under the criteria that the company’s aircraft be named after the country’s protected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the following months, Jaragua, Ojos Ind\u00edgenas, Los Tres Ojos and Valle Nuevo were added to its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has incorporated a series of services to enhance the customer experience, and recently reported that more than 10,000 passengers have included in their ticket and used the Arajet Travel Assist service, which allows for unplanned medical expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, Arajet offers the facility to purchase airline tickets and pay for them in cash at Todo Pago ticket counters located in the Dominican Republic, making the airline an affordable experience for users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pacheco M\u00e9ndez also highlighted the launch of Arabonito, a corporate voucher for companies that allows companies to purchase tickets for their employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
