Icelandair <\/strong>announced its new flight schedule for the 2023-2024 winter season, effective from October, where it will fly to 36 destinations, with a 20-25% increase in capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to high demand and strong commercial performance, the Barcelona, Baltimore, Rome, Raleigh Durham and Vancouver routes will see capacity increases from seasonal to year-round routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of Barcelona, Icelandair will link Barcelona with Reykjavik 3 times a week throughout the year, starting next April 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These direct flights will allow, for the first time in the company’s history, all travelers from Barcelona to connect comfortably and quickly with the destinations served by the airline in the USA and Canada (Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Toronto, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Portland and Vancouver).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More frequencies from Tenerife and greater flexibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the expansion of seasonal routes, Icelandair has introduced a number of changes to flight frequencies for the winter season to ensure that the needs of current demand are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most notable frequency increases will be on the route between Tenerife-South and Reykjav\u00edk, increasing to between 4-6 direct flights per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The increase in these connections joins the other destinations served by the company in Spain: Madrid, Alicante and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
