Last Saturday, April 1, and coinciding with the celebration of Easter week, SKY<\/strong> began air operations to Jauja and Tacna from Lima, becoming its 13th and 14th destination within Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are excited to continue to grow in Peru. Our goal is to increase our network of domestic and international destinations by 2023. We are convinced that Jauja and Tacna will help us to continue consolidating our position as the most important low cost carrier in Peru, while at the same time allowing us to meet the needs of our passengers, who demanded a low cost alternative and excellent service to both cities,” said Franco Chaparro, SKY’s Sales Manager in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 SKY launches new route between Lima and S\u00e3o Paulo<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On its daily flights on both routes, the airline expects to transport around 9,000 passengers per month; and -for Easter Week- it expects to transport around 1,500 passengers to each of these destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

50,000 PASSENGERS TRANSPORTED DURING EASTER WEEK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SKY also announces that, between Wednesday April 5 and Sunday April 9, it will transport more than 50,000 passengers in total, considering its 14 destinations within the country as well as its five international destinations from Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline projects that, of this total, more than 41,500 passengers will be domestic travelers, which would represent an increase of more than 40% of passengers transported compared to Easter Week 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The low cost airline added that at the international level, it expects to transport around 10,500 passengers to its international destinations from Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
