confirms Q1 deliveries drop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Airbus<\/strong> confirmed Tuesday a drop in aircraft deliveries in the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world&#8217;s largest aircraft maker said it delivered 127 planes in the quarter, down 11% from 142 in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/04\/airbus-to-double-its-aircraft-production-capacity-in-china.html\">Airbus to double its aircraft production capacity in China<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry sources said on Friday deliveries fell short of an informal target in the high 130s, paving the way for a 12-week sprint to steady the trajectory by mid-year, when the company is expected to either confirm or review an annual target of 720 airplanes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/airbus-deliveries\/airbus-confirms-q1-deliveries-drop-sells-4-a350-freighters-idUSL1N36E0OK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Reuters<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airbus meanwhile sold 20 airplanes in March to bring the gross total for the year to 156 airplanes or a net total of 142 units after cancellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orders included a previously announced order for 15 A350s by Lufthansa and four A350 freighters for which the buyer\u2019s name was
