Avolon<\/strong>, the international aircraft leasing company, announced Tuesday that it has completed the delivery of 15 A320neo aircraft to Indian airline Vistara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these latest deliveries, the airline now has a total of 59 aircraft: 45 A320neo, 8 A321neo and 2 Boeing 737-800 and 4 Boeing 787-9 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 India plans to invest US$12 billion in 72 new airports<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A modern and efficient fleet is the backbone of any airline’s operations and enables steady growth. We are delighted to have worked with Avolon on the delivery of these 15 aircraft that have enabled us to continue our expansion and offer greater connectivity to our customers,” commented Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are delighted to have completed this delivery of 15 new technology and fuel efficient aircraft to Vistara. The rapidly growing Indian aviation market is benefiting from the airline’s continued success and we appreciate the opportunity to have supported this expansion of its A320neo fleet,” said Paul Geaney, Avolon’s President and Chief Commercial Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
