GOL Linhas A\u00e9reas<\/strong> announced that it will resume operations as of September 1 between the airports of Congonhas, in S\u00e3o Paulo, and RIOgale\u00e3o, in Rio de Janeiro’s North Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline informed that there will be three daily flights between the two airports. To better serve customers, the airline has planned for each flight to have a time slot (morning, afternoon and evening), thus ensuring a variety of options to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, GOL now has 27 daily flights between the S\u00e3o Paulo airport and the city of Rio de Janeiro, 24 of them on the traditional airlift to Santos Dumont. Considering the offers from Guarulhos to Rio, the airline also has another five daily flights to Santos Dumont and another five to Gale\u00e3o, totaling an offer of up to 37 daily flights between the main airports of the two metropolises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“GOL always plans new routes with a focus on the customer and their needs. With the new flights between Congonhas and RIOgale\u00e3o, the company guarantees service to the most diverse travel purposes of our customers flying in this important commercial aviation market,” said Bruno Balan, Strategic Planning Manager of GOL’s Airline Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to customers flying on the airlift, the new route meets the demand for international connections to Europe, the United States and Latin America at Gale\u00e3o for customers from S\u00e3o Paulo with flights from partner airlines such as American Airlines, Air France\/KLM, Avianca, Aerolineas Argentinas, among others. In the domestic market, GOL travelers in S\u00e3o Paulo will be able to connect at RIOgale\u00e3o to capitals in the North and Northeast, such as Fortaleza, Recife, Macei\u00f3, Manaus, Bel\u00e9m, Natal, Jo\u00e3o Pessoa and Aracaju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, customers from Rio de Janeiro now have a complement of connections at Congonhas to destinations throughout Brazil, such as the capitals of the South and Midwest (Curitiba, Campo Grande, Goi\u00e2nia, Florian\u00f3polis and Porto Alegre) and cities in the interior of Brazil such as Ara\u00e7atuba, Caxias do Sul, Joinville, Ribeir\u00e3o Preto, S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 do Rio Preto, Maring\u00e1, Navegantes, Presidente Prudente, Uberl\u00e2ndia and Uberaba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
