Dominican airline Arajet <\/strong>announced Monday the launch of its connecting flights from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport to Cartagena, Medellin, Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten, Kingston and Sao Paulo, which will operate from October 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Canadians will be able to enjoy the privileged location of our low-fare hub in the Dominican Republic to connect to dream destinations in the Caribbean all year round,” said Victor Pacheco Mendez, CEO and founder of Arajet. “The Arajet effect will allow more tourists to visit our countries and strengthen their economic development, generate more jobs and opportunities for more people throughout the region,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arajet will serve with direct flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and for a limited time offers connections to the Caribbean from USD 104 per leg (taxes not included).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arajet is making the Dominican Republic the continent’s new low-cost hub, offering direct flights from Santo Domingo to Mexico City, Cancun, San Jose, Guatemala, San Salvador, Bogota, Medellin, Barranquilla, Quito, Guayaquil, Lima, Sao Paulo, Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten, Kingston and 74 connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
