Icelandic airline PLAY <\/strong>has launched ticket sales for its flights between Reykjav\u00edk and Frankfurt (Germany), which will start on December 14, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will operate between four and five flights per week during the winter period, on Airbus A320 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s customers will also be able to connect from Frankfurt to PLAY destinations in North America, such as Boston, Baltimore, New York, Washington DC and Toronto, and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frankfurt thus becomes PLAY’s fourth destination in Germany, after Berlin, D\u00fcsseldorf and Hamburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are delighted to be able to add more destinations to our transatlantic route network at a time when demand in North America for flights to Europe is high. Revenue from passengers from North America is much higher than last year so this is a great time to add Frankfurt as a destination. With ten aircraft in our fleet, which is now the youngest and most modern fleet in Europe, we are in a great position to expand our route network and keep offering competitive prices to passengers,\u201d says Birgir J\u00f3nsson, PLAY\u2019s CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
