{"id":143066,"date":"2023-08-25T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-25T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=143066"},"modified":"2023-08-25T21:40:06","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T21:40:06","slug":"aeromexico-to-operate-14-weekly-flights-to-new-tulum-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2023\/08\/aeromexico-to-operate-14-weekly-flights-to-new-tulum-airport.html","title":{"rendered":"Aeromexico to operate 14 weekly flights to new Tulum Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Aeromexico <\/strong>will begin operations from Mexico City&#8217;s International Airport (AICM) to the new Tulum International Airport on December 1, offering greater connectivity with the state of Quintana Roo, especially with the southern Riviera Maya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new route will be an additional alternative for domestic and international travelers originating from destinations such as Tijuana, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Toronto, San Francisco and Chicago, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/08\/aeromexico-to-concentrate-operations-at-aicms-t2-from-september-onwards.html\">Aeromexico to concentrate operations at AICM\u2019s T2 from September onwards<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flights will be operated with Embraer 190 equipment, starting with 14 weekly frequencies. This decision reinforces Aeromexico&#8217;s presence in the state of Quintana Roo, where the airline offers connectivity and the best service to and from Cancun, Chetumal, Cozumel and now Tulum, with a total offer of more than 221 thousand seats per month, which represents an increase of 6% compared to the current operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Itineraries and ticket sales will be available in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As Mexico&#8217;s flag carrier, we are very pleased to participate in the inauguration of this air terminal because, in addition to the fact that it will be a great airport facility, many of our customers have Tulum and the southern Riviera Maya as their final destination, which are international benchmarks for the wealth of tourism that our country
