LATAM Group<\/strong> reported on Tuesday that in August, total passengers transported grew 16.3% compared to the same month of 2022, reaching 6.7 million people. Of this amount, passengers transported to international destinations grew 44.1%. The number of passengers transported on domestic flights (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) grew by 14.2%, and domestic flights from Brazil by 9.7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far this year, the total number of passengers transported reached more than 47 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With respect to operations measured in available seat-kilometers (ASK), they grew by 16.0% compared to August 2022, and during the first eight months of 2023, capacity increased by 23.7% compared to the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM started flights between S\u00e3o Paulo and Johannesburg<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passenger traffic measured in revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK) grew 18.6% compared to the same month in 2022, with a 33.9% increase on international routes. So far this year, the LATAM Group increased its RPKs by 25.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In cargo, capacity (measured in available ton-kilometers – ATK) increased by 9.3% compared to August 2022, reaching 596 million available ton-kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
