{"id":143805,"date":"2023-09-15T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=143805"},"modified":"2023-09-15T22:38:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T22:38:54","slug":"westjet-adds-31-additional-european-cities-to-its-network-through-air-france-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2023\/09\/westjet-adds-31-additional-european-cities-to-its-network-through-air-france-agreement.html","title":{"rendered":"WestJet adds 31 additional European cities to its network through Air France agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>WestJet<\/strong> announced Thursday that, as of September 25, 2023, its customers will have access to 31 additional cities in 11 European countries from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport thanks to an expanded codeshare agreement with <strong>Air France<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, WestJet and Air France\u2019s code share agreement included 22 destinations through Charles De Gaulle Airport, all of which will be maintained as the number of onward destinations in Europe now grows to 53 which will be accessible as part of the WestJet network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/08\/westjet-to-expand-flights-to-mexico-from-vancouver-in-winter.html\">WestJet to expand flights to Mexico from Vancouver in winter<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWestJet is thrilled to more than double our current destination offerings through our Air France codeshare agreement, significantly expanding opportunities for Canadians to turn their dream European getaways into a reality,\u201d shared Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Commercial Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to exceptional demand for its seasonal service to the city of love, WestJet has extended service between Calgary and Paris to now operate year-round. The once seasonal route will continue to fly on WestJet\u2019s 787 Dreamliner up to seven days per week during peak travel periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"
