A technically very complex project that only the best professionals in the aeronautical world and in our company can tackle,&#8221; said Aena&#8217;s president and CEO, Maurici Lucena.<\/p>\n<p>Aena was awarded the concession for the Eleven Airports Block in Brazil, located in four states (S\u00e3o Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Par\u00e1) for a term of 30 years, with the possibility of an additional five years, in a public auction held in August 2022.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/10\/spain-aena-airports-register-more-than-27-5-million-passengers-in-september.html\">Spain: Aena airports register more than 27.5 million passengers in September<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 11 airports recorded a total of 26.8 million passengers in 2019, 12% of the country&#8217;s air traffic in that year.
