LATAM Airlines<\/strong> expands its presence in Northeastern Brazil with the start of ticket sales for six new codeshare routes with VOEPASS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The routes to be added are Recife-Campina Grande, Campina Grande-Fortaleza, Recife-Natal, Natal-Mossor\u00f3, Mossor\u00f3-Fortaleza and Salvador-Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista. All of them will be operated as of January 1, 2024 by VOEPASS, in ATR-72 aircraft, with capacity for up to 70 passengers. This brings to 55 the number of routes served by the codeshare between the two companies.<\/p>\n

“These new operations boost both leisure and corporate travel. A customer with business in Campina Grande, for example, can board in the morning with LATAM from S\u00e3o Paulo to Recife and, from there, connect with VOEPASS to their final destination. In the late afternoon, they can fly back to Recife and, from there, to S\u00e3o Paulo, completing the entire trip in a single day,” explains Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director.<\/p>\n

SUSTAINABLE GROWTH OF LATAM’S CONNECTIVITY<\/h3>\n

Following the Covid-19 pandemic, LATAM has become more efficient and competitive, opening 11 new destinations in Brazil from 2021: Jericoacoara, Juazeiro do Norte, Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista, Petrolina, Presidente Prudente, Montes Claros, Juiz de Fora, Cascavel, Sinop, Caxias do Sul and Passo Fundo. This expansion allowed the airline to reach its record 55 destinations in the country.<\/p>\n

In the international market, LATAM is the airline that most connects Brazil with the world, with flights to 90 destinations abroad. In 2023, it inaugurated the Brasilia-Lima, Porto Alegre-Santiago, S\u00e3o Paulo-Los Angeles and S\u00e3o Paulo-Johannesburg routes, and reconnected Brazil with Melbourne (via Santiago) and Caracas (via Lima).
