{"id":145112,"date":"2023-11-02T14:00:49","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T14:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=145112"},"modified":"2023-11-03T11:36:06","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T11:36:06","slug":"latam-inaugurates-direct-flights-between-florianopolis-and-santiago-de-chile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2023\/11\/latam-inaugurates-direct-flights-between-florianopolis-and-santiago-de-chile.html","title":{"rendered":"LATAM inaugurates direct flights between Florian\u00f3polis and Santiago de Chile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LATAM Airlines<\/strong> inaugurated this Wednesday its direct flights between Florian\u00f3polis and Santiago, the company&#8217;s sixth route between Brazil and Chile.<\/p>\n<p>The route will operate daily on Airbus A320 aircraft, with capacity for 12 passengers in the Premium Economy cabin and 162 in Economy, and expects to serve more than 81,000 passengers per year.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time the airline has operated the route on a regular basis, and not just during the year-end peak season.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/10\/latam-inaugurates-new-route-between-belo-horizonte-and-santiago-de-chile.html\">LATAM inaugurates new route between Belo Horizonte and Santiago de Chile<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LATAM currently operates direct flights between Santiago and the airports of S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos (44 times a week), Rio de Janeiro\/Gale\u00e3o (17 times a week), Porto Alegre (4 times a week), Curitiba (3 times a week) and Belo Horizonte\/Confins (3 times a week), and now Florian\u00f3polis.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This new route demonstrates that we have been able to invest strategically and sustainably to bring more tourists to Brazil and also to expand travel options for Brazilians. By bringing Florian\u00f3polis closer to Santiago, we connect Santa Catarina with all of Chile and also with important points in the Pacific, such as Sydney, Auckland, Melbourne and Easter Island,&#8221;
