In the international segment, the company increased its capacity by 31.2% compared to the same month of 2022, reaching the highest ASK level since February 2020, with an occupancy factor of 87.8% in that segment.<\/p>\n<p>During the first ten months of 2023, capacity in the international segment increased by 39.8% compared to the same period in 2022, in line with a 41.9% increase in demand.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/10\/latam-inaugurates-new-route-between-belo-horizonte-and-santiago-de-chile.html\">LATAM inaugurates new route between Belo Horizonte and Santiago de Chile<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The number of passengers carried in that month increased by 13.2% compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 6.4 million passengers, of which 1.2 million corresponded to international operations, up 38.4% compared to October 2022.<\/p>\n<p>So far this year, the total number of passengers transported exceeded 60 million, an increase of 18.1% compared to the period January &#8211; October 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In cargo, the group added its 19th freighter aircraft, a Boeing 767-300BCF, to its fleet, strengthening its presence in the region&#8217;s export and import markets.
