{"id":145673,"date":"2023-11-21T12:30:50","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T12:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=145673"},"modified":"2023-11-21T14:30:18","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T14:30:18","slug":"westjet-announces-new-nonstop-route-between-regina-and-minneapolis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2023\/11\/westjet-announces-new-nonstop-route-between-regina-and-minneapolis.html","title":{"rendered":"WestJet announces new nonstop route between Regina and Minneapolis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WestJet<\/strong> announced Monday a new daily nonstop, year-round service between Regina, Canada, and Minneapolis, USA, beginning April 28 as part of its 2024 summer schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The route is Regina&#8217;s first annual cross-border service since 2016 and marks the province&#8217;s second direct route to the U.S. Midwest, following the launch of the airline&#8217;s flights between Saskatoon and Minneapolis.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/11\/westjet-to-resume-summer-transatlantic-flights-from-halifax.html\">WestJet to resume summer transatlantic flights from Halifax<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to answer the call of the community and further our commitment to Regina and surrounding area by bringing vital year-round transborder connectivity with service to Minneapolis, beginning this summer,&#8221; says Jared Mikoch-Gerke, WestJet Director of Alliances &amp; Airport Affairs.<\/p>\n<h3>Delta codeshare partnership provides new network of U.S. connectivity<\/h3>\n<p>Guests travelling beyond Minneapolis will have access to a broad network and benefits through WestJet&#8217;s relationship with Delta Air Lines. This includes codeshare flights to over 70 connecting destinations, now accessible with only one stop from Regina; the ability to earn and redeem WestJet Rewards on both airlines; and top tier frequent flyer benefits through the entire journey.<\/p>\n<p>WestJet guests have access to Delta&#8217;s broad network on a single purchased ticket with check-in for all flights at the first
