This new connection strengthens the airline&#8217;s presence in the region and gives travelers more options to explore Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>The first flight to Cartagena, operated by an Airbus A320neo, departed from Jorge Ch\u00e1vez International Airport with 100% occupancy.<\/p>\n<p>On December 12, the airline will also start its flights between Lima and C\u00facuta, which will have three weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/11\/jetsmart-inaugurates-direct-flights-between-lima-and-medellin.html\">JetSMART inaugurates direct flights between Lima and Medell\u00edn<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the start of operations to these two destinations, the airline now has six direct international routes from Peru, in line with its strategy to consolidate Lima as an important hub in South America.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are excited to offer our passengers the possibility to explore two Colombian destinations such as Cartagena and C\u00facuta.
