which is part of the airline&#8217;s conditions of entry passengers must now &#8216;seek consent before filming or photographing Qantas Group staff, contractors or other customers.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The move, which was introduced last November 8, was taken to protect staff and other passengers from ending up in viral videos on social networks.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2023\/10\/qantas-launches-new-direct-route-between-perth-and-paris.html\">Qantas launches new direct route between Perth and Paris<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Travellers however will be allowed to take photos and videos of views when they are on board.<\/p>\n<p>They can take selfies but they will need permission if photos and videos feature other passengers.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson from Qantas told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12844451\/Qantas-mobile-phone-crackdown-rule.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Mail Australia<\/a> the rule is designed to make sure people take photos and videos responsibly.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We know that lots of our customers want to film and photograph their journey and our policy is designed to make sure they can do that safely and respectfully,&#8217;
