The LATAM Group <\/strong>transported approximately 74 million passengers during 2023, which represents an 18.3% increase over 2022, reaching levels similar to the pre-pandemic, according to December operating statistics released today by the group. This result was mainly driven by the increase in passengers transported in the domestic markets of its subsidiaries in Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, while the international segment continues to recover. To date, LATAM offers a broad and robust network of connections to its passengers to 147 destinations on four continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of capacity measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), the group increased its consolidated supply by 20.6% compared to 2022, in line with the latest growth guidance published last August. In December 2023, LATAM increased its supply by 13.2% compared to the same month of 2022, with an increase of 18.6% in the international segment and 16.3% in the domestic markets of its subsidiaries in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consolidated annual passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger-kilometers – RPK) increased 23.1% compared to 2022, driven mainly by the 39.4% increase in international demand last year. Particularly in December, demand increased 21.8% compared to the same month of 2022, with increases in all segments in which the group operates: 29.1% in international routes, 21.7% in the domestic markets of the subsidiaries in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, and 11.7% in the domestic market of Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, the group reported a consolidated passenger occupancy factor of 83.1%, 1.7 percentage points higher than in 2022. In December 2023, LATAM reached a consolidated occupancy factor of 84.4%, which represents an increase of 6 percentage points over December 2022 levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In cargo, during 2023, capacity measured in available ton-kilometers (ATK) reached 7,171 million, representing a 14.6% increase in capacity offered compared to 2022. Specifically, in December 2023 ATK increased by 11.3% compared to the same month in 2022, reaching 668 million available ton-kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
