Combined with airport and maintenance positions, the airline is expected to generate nearly $84 million annually in local wages with further growth anticipated in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/01\/us-judge-blocks-jetblue-from-acquiring-spirit-airlines.html\">US judge blocks JetBlue from acquiring Spirit Airlines<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To celebrate, the airline is offering fares to\/from Puerto Rico starting at just $49 one way and upgrades to Premium extra-legroom Stretch seating starting at $19 per passenger, per flight segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe wish to extend our utmost appreciation to the Puerto Rican government, and our tourism and business partners on the island, as we prepare to open our 13th crew base in San Juan,\u201d said Barry Biffle, CEO, Frontier Airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frontier is the fastest growing airline in Puerto Rico, offering flights to the
