Delta Air Lines<\/a><\/strong> will begin rolling out the new First Class seats on select Boeing 737-800 aircraft this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These innovative new seats, which debuted in 2022 on Delta\u2019s A321neo aircraft, give customers more privacy, additional stowage space for personal items and a sturdier tray table, in addition to enhanced comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDelta is committed to creating a consistent and elevated customer experience across all touchpoints of the travel journey, which includes offering the best products for our customers while in-flight,\u201d said Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Brand Experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta will also refresh Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin on select Boeing 737-800 aircraft, where upgraded, 10-inch Panasonic seatback screens will enable added enjoyment of the more than 1,000 hours of free premium entertainment available on Delta Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of the cabin, Delta is also upgrading the winglets by installing split-scimitar winglets. This enhancement will make the aircraft more fuel efficient, saving nearly 3.3 million gallons of fuel per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These cabin upgrades are the latest step in Delta\u2019s ongoing efforts to elevate the customer experience on board and deliver on the airline\u2019s commitment to provide a best-in-class suite of products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, Delta completed nose-to-tail cabin refreshes of its Boeing 767-400ER aircraft and other widebody aircraft as it installed Delta Premium Select cabins onboard. Additional cabin upgrades are coming for select Boeing 757 and widebody aircraft in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MORE DELTA ONE SEATS ON A350-900S<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Delta is also expanding the Delta One cabin on its fleet of Airbus A350-900s. The airline is adding eight more award-winning lie-flat suites to the long-haul jet. With these modifications, the A350-900 will soon feature 40 Delta One Suites, 40 seats in the Delta Premium Select cabin, 36 extra-legroom seats in Delta Comfort+ and 159 Main Cabin seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first modified A350-900 aircraft in this new configuration is expected to enter into service in Summer 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
