{"id":147833,"date":"2024-02-06T13:00:54","date_gmt":"2024-02-06T13:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=147833"},"modified":"2024-02-06T22:55:10","modified_gmt":"2024-02-06T22:55:10","slug":"gol-and-aerolineas-argentinas-extend-their-codeshare-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/gol-and-aerolineas-argentinas-extend-their-codeshare-agreement.html","title":{"rendered":"GOL and Aerolineas Argentinas extend their codeshare agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>GOL and Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas<\/strong> updated their codeshare agreement on Monday with the inclusion of the Brazilian company&#8217;s new route between Buenos Aires-Ezeiza and Bogot\u00e1, which will be operated as of April, and Aerol\u00edneas&#8217; route between Aeroparque and the Colombian capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, customers of the Argentine airline will be able to connect via Ezeiza with the new GOL flight to the Colombian capital, and GOL customers will also have the opportunity to travel with Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas to Colombia on flights between Aeroparque and Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement will still be subject to approval by the local Argentine authorities and, as soon as it is approved, codeshare ticket sales will be opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/01\/brazils-gol-filing-for-chapter-11-bankruptcy-protection-in-us.html\">Brazil\u2019s Gol filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in US<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aerolineas Argentinas and GOL Linhas A\u00e9reas began their alliance in 2007 with an interline agreement and since 2014 have maintained a comprehensive codeshare agreement that has carried more than 1 million customers in more than 15 years. Today, Aerolineas customers have access to 75 markets operated by GOL, which in return can sell tickets to 62 markets served by the Argentine carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;GOL and Aerolineas Argentinas are proud of the role they have played in the development of the airline industry between the two countries, and we look forward to continuing to work collaboratively to promote tourism and business throughout South America,&#8221; said Celso Ferrer, CEO of GOL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;GOL is a strategic partner of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, our relationship continues to strengthen over time and transcends borders,&#8221; said Fabi\u00e1n Lombardo, CEO of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bogota is also the gateway to other Colombian cities operated by avianca, a strategic partner of GOL and Aerol\u00edneas. Customers landing at El Dorado airport will have easy connections to important economic centers in the country, such as Cali and Medellin, as well as to places known for their tourist attractions and
