Air Europa<\/strong> is expanding its reach on the African continent with a codeshare agreement with Kenya Airways<\/strong>, which will allow passengers of the Spanish airline to fly to Nairobi from Amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The availability of this new connection, which significantly expands customers’ travel options to the African continent, is in addition to Air Europa’s own routes to two key destinations in North Africa, Marrakech and Tunis, which are operated during the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From now on, the alliance with Kenya Airways will facilitate connections between Europe and other regional destinations, and vice versa. In fact, the African airline will also deploy its codes on four Air Europa routes, namely those connecting Madrid with Amsterdam, Palma de Mallorca, New York and Miami, respectively. Thanks to codesharing, users enjoy significant advantages, such as the purchase of a single ticket, a single check-in and connections with minimum waiting times, among other benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are very pleased with the partnership we have entered into with Kenya Airways. In addition to working alongside one of the most established and prestigious airlines in Africa, this alliance allows us to significantly expand our reach in a region with growing demand, which will undoubtedly result in great benefits for our customers,” said Estelle Leray, Air Europa’s Director of Alliances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial and Customer Service Officer of Kenya Airways, also welcomed the agreement: “We are excited about the agreement as it will provide our customers with more and better travel options to Europe and the United States. Air Europa is our partner in the SkyTeam alliance and this agreement will allow us to collaborate even more for the benefit of our customers, offering them more access and better connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Europa continues to work to offer more destinations through existing agreements and to reach new ones with new companies to expand the current network beyond its traditional markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
