LATAM<\/strong> is the airline group with the best sustainability performance in Latin America and seventh worldwide, according to Standard & Poor’s most recent Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This achievement also allowed it to be the only airline group in the region to be present in the 2024 edition of “The Sustainability Yearbook”, the yearbook in which the prestigious risk rating agency highlights those companies that have had outstanding growth in the evaluation of their sustainability management, due to their environmental, social and corporate governance practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM introduces a special livery collection dedicated to countries in which it operates<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, sustainability is the roadmap for the entire group and a filter for each of its steps, aware that we must play an active role in the communities where we operate. Being recognized as the most sustainable airline group in the region is only the consequence of systematic work to move towards carbon neutrality and a circular economic model, as a contribution to the fight against climate change, adding value to the communities we connect,” said Juan Jos\u00e9 Toha, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at LATAM Airlines Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To qualify for the yearbook, companies must score in the top 15% of their industry and achieve an overall S&P sustainability score in the top 30% of the best performing company in their field. In the 2024 edition, out of a total of 9,400 companies evaluated, 61 were airlines, of which, according to the evaluation, only 7 made it into the yearbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
