and Mexican aeronautics industry partner to launch second competition to accelerate development of SAF in the country"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Mexican aeronautics industry leaders have partnered once again to launch the second Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) competition, which invites academic and research institutions to submit proposals on ways to accelerate the production and scalability of SAF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries for the competition will be accepted until March 15, 2024, and the winning projects will be announced during the Aerospace Fair Mexico (FAMEX) in April 2025, after an evaluation phase that will run from March 2024 to March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/01\/airbus-and-partners-pave-the-way-for-hydrogen-aviation-in-sweden-and-norway.html\">Airbus and partners pave the way for hydrogen aviation in Sweden and Norway<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating in the competition are Airbus, Aerom\u00e9xico, Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA), C\u00e1mara Nacional de Aerotransportes (CANAERO), Consejo Mexicano de Educaci\u00f3n Aeroespacial (COMEA), Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de la Industria Aeroespacial (FEMIA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), Iniciativa para los Combustibles Sostenibles de Aviaci\u00f3n en M\u00e9xico (ICSA), Viva Aerobus and Volaris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register for the contest or get more information <a
