Since February 1, LATAM Airlines Group<\/a><\/strong> has had a Disney+ <\/strong>content package in its in-flight entertainment service. This, after closing an agreement with Disney Entertainment, which includes the availability of some of the contents of the streaming platform in the more than 300 airplanes of the company flying to 147 destinations in 25 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the milestone, LATAM becomes the first airline group in South America to add a Disney+ content package to its in-flight service. This will allow its passengers to choose from more than 50 movies, series episodes and other content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, including films such as Disenchanted and Lady and the Tramp, and episodes of series such as Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, Cars: Adventures on the Road, Loki, Obi Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, Ms. Marvel and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We continue to focus on making every flight an unforgettable experience for customers. Now we are adding Disney+ to LATAM Play, bringing a package of exclusive, varied and high quality content for everyone, free of charge, making flights even more magical,” said Paulo Miranda, vice president of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This announcement comes to reinforce the joint work between LATAM Group and Disney, after they introduced the Stormtrooper Plane in 2019, designed to celebrate the opening of the “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” attraction at Disney’s Orlando theme park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to visit Disney Park in Orlando, the LATAM group currently offers three direct routes to its passengers. Throughout the year, LATAM Airlines Colombia flies from Bogota and LATAM Airlines Brazil from Sao Paulo, with seven frequencies and four weekly frequencies, respectively. And recently the airline announced the route from Santiago to Orlando, which will be operational between June and September 2024, with three flights a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

World Class Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a result of this agreement, the LATAM group will have content from 3 streaming platforms on board: Disney+, HBO Max and Paramount+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, LATAM offers its customers more than 170 movies, more than 550 episodes of series, 1,000 songs and children’s and reading content for them to enjoy during their travels. And for this year, the group aims to grow its content offering by over 50%, consolidating its position as a leader in the region with world-class content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
