This month the airline placed an order with Boeing for 45 787 aircraft, with an option to increase the deal to 80 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/02\/etihad-airways-takes-delivery-of-three-new-boeing-787-9s.html\">Etihad Airways takes delivery of three new Boeing 787-9s<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to announce this transaction for three new Boeing 787-9 aircraft with new customer, Thai Airways International,\u201d said Steven F. Udvar-H\u00e1zy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to commence this new partnership with ALC, with the addition of three Boeing 787-9s to Thai Airways\u2019 fleet. The incorporation of these aircraft underscores our dedication to fleet modernization and delivering exceptional comfort and efficiency to our passengers,\u201d said Chai Eamsiri, CEO of Thai Airways
