{"id":149465,"date":"2024-03-21T13:30:42","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T13:30:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=149465"},"modified":"2024-03-21T18:18:57","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T18:18:57","slug":"air-france-to-upgrade-its-embraer-190-cabins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/03\/air-france-to-upgrade-its-embraer-190-cabins.html","title":{"rendered":"Air France to upgrade its Embraer 190 cabins"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Air France<\/strong> announced Thursday that it will upgrade the cabins of all Embraer 190s operated by its subsidiary <strong>HOP!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To design the aircraft\u2019s future seats, Air France has teamed up with Expliseat, the French manufacturer of an innovative carbon fiber and titanium seat combining a lightweight and sustainable design with enhanced comfort, durability and functionality. Tailored to the airline\u2019s needs, they will be manufactured and assembled in Angers, France. The entire cabin decor will be also given a makeover in the Air France colours, from the walls of the aircraft to the carpet on the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/01\/air-france-launches-new-route-between-paris-and-phoenix-arizona.html\">Air France launches new route between Paris and Phoenix, Arizona<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The refurbishment of the Embraer 190s will start after summer at the HOP! maintenance site in Clermont-Ferrand. The first of these revamped aircraft will take to the skies in autumn 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These new-generation seats will be consistent with the high standards of comfort offered on board the Airbus A220, the jewel in Air France\u2019s short and medium-haul fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seats will be unveiled exclusively from 28 to 30 May at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg (Germany), an event
