LATAM Airlines<\/strong> will have a progressive increase of more than 30% in the volume of Brazil-Chile flights between May and July, compared to the operation at the beginning of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The increases are scheduled to expand flights to Santiago from S\u00e3o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Florian\u00f3polis, Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte, in addition to the new route from Brasilia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“LATAM is the airline that most connects Brazil with the world, with its own flights from the country to 90 airports abroad and Santiago is one of the most popular destinations. We also have the advantage of offering a network that caters to travelers interested in flying to Chile from various regions of Brazil, and not just from the Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo hub,” commented Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM announces resumption of its longest nonstop route: Santiago \u2013 Sydney<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Southern Region, starting in May, the Curitiba-Santiago route will increase from 4 to 6 weekly flights, while the Florian\u00f3polis-Santiago route will increase from 4 to 7, reaching 10 weekly flights in July. In addition, the Porto Alegre-Santiago route will increase from 4 to 5 weekly flights in May, and will reach 7 flights as of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the southeast, the Belo Horizonte\/Confins-Santiago route will increase from 3 to 5 weekly flights in May, 6 in June and finally 7 in July. The S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos-Santiago route will increase from 52 to 57 weekly flights in May and to 66 in July. The change at Guarulhos will increase connectivity for passengers from all over Brazil traveling to Santiago, as the S\u00e3o Paulo hub has direct LATAM flights to 49 Brazilian airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the Rio de Janeiro\/Gale\u00e3o-Santiago route will increase from 20 to 26 weekly flights starting in July. This is the highest volume of flights on the route for the aforementioned month since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 1, LATAM will begin operating the Brasilia-Santiago route with three weekly flights. The new operation will connect passengers traveling from cities such as Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Jo\u00e3o Pessoa, Teresina, Bel\u00e9m and Manaus with Chile and Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
