{"id":165464,"date":"2024-05-24T13:00:30","date_gmt":"2024-05-24T13:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=165464"},"modified":"2024-05-24T20:59:44","modified_gmt":"2024-05-24T20:59:44","slug":"azul-and-gol-announce-codeshare-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/05\/azul-and-gol-announce-codeshare-agreement.html","title":{"rendered":"Azul and GOL announce codeshare agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Azul and GOL<\/strong> announced a commercial cooperation agreement that will connect their airline networks in Brazil through code-sharing, including exclusive domestic routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement also includes loyalty programs, allowing Azul Fidelidade and Smiles members to earn points or miles when purchasing flights included in the codeshare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This agreement will bring tremendous benefits to our customers. Both companies have a history of aviation development in Brazil, focused on excellence in customer service,&#8221; said Abhi Shah, President of Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/05\/gol-and-south-african-airways-resume-codeshare-agreement.html\">GOL and South African Airways resume codeshare agreement<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;GOL and Azul have always been committed to expanding the Brazilian air market. This codeshare agreement will give customers access to even more options to travel around our country,&#8221; said Celso Ferrer, CEO of GOL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travelers will be able to benefit from this commercial partnership from the end of June, when the offer will be available in the sales channels of both companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azul and GOL have about 1,500 daily takeoffs.
