The giant&#8217;s decision to invest in Morocco once again demonstrates the confidence of investors in the Moroccan industrial platform and its competitiveness,&#8221; said Mr. Ryad Mezzour, minister of Industry and Trade of Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/03\/spirit-airlines-to-receive-up-to-us200-million-for-pratt-whitney-engine-problems.html\">Spirit Airlines to receive up to US$200 million for Pratt &amp; Whitney engine problems<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe selected Morocco after a careful global benchmarking effort that pointed to Casablanca\u2019s growing hub of aerospace companies including RTX \u2019s Collins Aerospace,\u201d said Maria Della Posta, president, Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada. \u201cSince the announcement of this significant investment less than a year ago, Pratt &amp; Whitney Morocco has made rapid progress in hiring an initial cohort of local employees and working closely with local schools, agencies and the business community to achieve our goal of being fully operational next year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PWM is being built with lean operating principles to drive efficiency, improve quality and reduce complexity and costs. It will also incorporate advanced environmental practices, a core value for the Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once operational, PWM will complement Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada\u2019s current manufacturing
