Volotea<\/strong> inaugurated this Saturday its new direct connection between the airport of Castell\u00f3n and Bilbao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this route, the airline offers 14,400 seats on 80 flights, with two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is a summer route that will be available until October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the start of its operations in Castell\u00f3n in 2020, Volotea has continuously strengthened its commitment to the region’s connectivity. This year it is offering 30% more seats compared to 2022 and 97% more compared to 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur commitment to Castell\u00f3n is firm and has been demonstrated over the last few years. We started with an initial offer of 7,000 seats and 58 flights in 2020, which we have been increasing to carry more than 23,000 passengers and offer 80 flights in three years. We are excited to reconnect this Mediterranean region with a destination like Bilbao,\u201d said Gabriel Schmilovich, Volotea’s Chief Strategy Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
