Spain’s Iberia<\/strong> began ticket sales Thursday (June 13) for the first two transatlantic routes it will operate with the new Airbus A321XLR<\/strong>, the airline shows on its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iberia, which is the launch customer for the model, will debut the aircraft on November 14, 2024 on the Madrid-Boston route, which has a duration of more than 8 hours, according to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Iberia records record capacity between Europe and Latin America in 2024<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two months later, on January 15, 2025, it will incorporate the model on the Madrid-Washington Dulles route, which takes more than 9 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iberia’s A321XLRs will seat 182 passengers: 14 in Business Class with lie-flat seats and 168 in Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline expects to receive the first A321XLR after the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
