Arajet and Grupo Puntacana <\/strong>signed an agreement for the airline to start operations at the Punta Cana Airport as of November 1 and expand the network of destinations and connections in the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was announced by Frank El\u00edas Rainieri, CEO of Grupo Puntacana and V\u00edctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, who indicated that this alliance will have an extraordinary impact on the number of passengers that Arajet mobilizes, strengthening the arrival of visitors in the eastern zone of the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pacheco explained that the Punta Cana Airport will become Arajet’s second base, to offer this tourist area the opportunity to connect with the robust network of destinations and the more than 200 connection combinations offered by Arajet, which will continue to have as its central base the Las Americas International Airport (AILA) in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are committed to Arajet being the airline of all Dominicans, and that is why we have always wanted to fly to all airports in the country to allow them the opportunity to travel to other destinations at the lowest prices in the market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are very happy and grateful to be able to achieve this alliance with the Puntacana Group, since this airport currently concentrates the largest number of visitors arriving to the country by air, making it the favorite destination for tourists. We are fully confident that together we will make the Dominican Republic the new air hub of the continent,” said Pacheco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We thank Arajet Airlines for placing their trust in Punta Cana Airport and inviting us to be part of their expansion plans, in order to promote tourism and economic growth in the country,” said Frank El\u00edas Rainieri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Punta Cana will become Arajet’s third destination in the Dominican Republic, as in addition to the AILA, the airline operates regular flights at Cibao International Airport and is exploring the possibility of adding flights from Puerto Plata International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
