Arajet <\/strong>opened the second edition of its scholarship program for Dominican pilot cadets, as part of its social responsibility actions to promote the development of local talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arajet explained that this new call is made with the support of the services and tools of the U.S. manufacturer Boeing, to offer educational opportunities with world-class standards, and thus contribute to the growth of the aviation sector in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This second call for young Dominican pilots is a confirmation of the commitment Arajet has made to the national aeronautical sector to develop the airline industry and that we have more and more local talent specialized in all areas of aviation,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Arajet takes delivery of its tenth Boeing 737 MAX<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pacheco emphasized that in the first stage they will be offering two full scholarships for the training that will allow them to be certified by Boeing and study at its facilities in the United States. “This program has a theoretical part and a practical part of training in the Boeing flight simulator in the city of Miami, in order to start his career as a commercial pilot and belong to the airline as first officers”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline indicated that candidates interested in applying must meet the following requirements: be a Dominican citizen, of legal age, hold a commercial pilot’s license, have a minimum of 200 hours of flight experience, with the addition of twin-engine or multi-engine aircraft, have a U.S. visa and have at least an ICAO English level 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications for the Cadet Pilot Program Scholarships will be open from June 19-24, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
