Icelandair<\/strong> will add the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, to its extensive network of destinations this winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reykjavik-Lisbon route, which will be available from October 11, will operate twice weekly (Monday and Friday) on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights will take off from Reykjavik at 16:00, arriving in Lisbon at 21:20 (local time). From the Portuguese capital they will depart at 22:20, landing in Iceland at 01:50 the following day (local time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Icelandair also announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a greater strategic partnership with Portuguese airline TAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the terms, the two airlines will work on a codeshare agreement that will allow customers to travel seamlessly across the two companies’ networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
