Azul and GOL<\/strong> strengthened this Wednesday the commercial cooperation agreement that connects the networks of both companies through a flight-sharing agreement. Starting today, 40 routes will be available for sale on the companies’ channels, with many more expected to be added in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Azul’s sales channels, 20 routes operated by GOL are already available: Bel\u00e9m-Rio Branco, Confins-S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Curitiba-S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Juazeiro do Norte-Gale\u00e3o, Pato Branco-Bras\u00edlia, Recife-S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, S\u00e3o Gabriel da Cachoeira-Guarulhos, Tabatinga-Bras\u00edlia, TabatingaGuarulhos, Tef\u00e9-Bras\u00edlia, Tef\u00e9-Guarulhos, Uruguaiana-Bras\u00edlia, Viracopos-Boa Vista, Viracopos-Porto Velho, Viracopos-Rio Branco, in addition to those already included in the system Manaus-Rio Branco, Fortaleza-Gale\u00e3o, Curitiba-Bras\u00edlia, Manaus-Guarulhos, Manaus-Bras\u00edlia, Bras\u00edlia-Boa Vista, Bras\u00edlia-Porto Velho and Bras\u00edlia-Rio Branco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOL customers can purchase tickets directly through the company’s sales channels for Azul flights in Amazonas, between Manaus and Tef\u00e9; Mato Grosso, linking Cuiab\u00e1 and Alta Floresta; in Par\u00e1, from Bel\u00e9m and Altamira; in Minas Gerais, between Belo Horizonte and Ipatinga\/Vale do A\u00e7o and from Campinas\/Viracopos to Correia Pinto airport, in the Santa Catarina highlands, serving the Lages region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, Azul and GOL operate close to 1,500 daily takeoffs. With the start of the codeshare agreement, more than 2,700 single-connection travel opportunities will be created within Brazil, further facilitating access to air transportation in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are happy to be able to offer, together with GOL, even more flight and destination options, enhancing the customer’s experience when traveling around the country,” said Abhi Shah, president of Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facilities for Azul and GOL customers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Travelers will be able to search for domestic routes exclusive to either airline and purchase through Azul and GOL sales channels, finding a wider choice of destinations. Routes operated by both airlines are not included in the codeshare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, points or miles from codeshare flights purchased on the other carrier’s digital channels – for example, a GOL flight purchased on Azul’s website – may be accrued in Azul Fidelidade or Smiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check-in must always be done through the digital channels or counters of the operating airline of the flight or of the first leg in the case of connecting flights, regardless of the airline that sold the ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baggage delivery follows the same rules as check-in. It must be done with the airline operating the flight or the first leg, and will be delivered at the final destination, regardless of the connection with the other airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reservation changes and cancellations must be processed by the company that sold the ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
