Flydubai <\/strong>said Tuesday that it expects to take delivery of seven new aircraft before the end of 2024, which will contribute to the expansion of its network with the addition of Basel, Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support the airline’s growth trajectory, a recruitment drive is underway to add more professionals to its workforce, including pilots, cabin crew and engineers, as well as various positions in the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, flydubai employs more than 5,800 qualified professionals of 140 nationalities, of which more than 1,200 are pilots. Flydubai placed its first widebody order for 30 Boeing 787-9s at the Dubai Air Show in 2023, a landmark event in the airline’s history. It also announced its plan to establish new maintenance and training facilities that will enable greater efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline currently has a fleet of 88 aircraft, all Boeing 737s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
