This expansion will add 1.3 million premium seats per year to the carrier&#8217;s mainline fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, the airline modernized its entire regional fleet, adding 400,000 premium seats on Embraer E175 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/07\/alaska-airlines-launches-routes-to-two-mexican-destinations-from-los-angeles.html\">Alaska Airlines launches routes to two Mexican destinations from Los Angeles<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to increase the number of premium seats responds to growing customer demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First and Premium Class revenues increased by 8% and 6%, respectively, during the quarter, and the occupancy factor in First Class reached 71%, up 4.3 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
