{"id":167278,"date":"2024-07-30T12:00:29","date_gmt":"2024-07-30T12:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=167278"},"modified":"2024-07-31T11:37:11","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T11:37:11","slug":"spirit-airlines-to-offer-new-travel-options-and-transformed-guest-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/07\/spirit-airlines-to-offer-new-travel-options-and-transformed-guest-experience.html","title":{"rendered":"Spirit Airlines to offer new travel options and transformed guest experience"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Spirit Airlines<\/strong> announced Tuesday that it will offer new travel options, including premium selections, as part of a major transformation that will provide an even friendlier, more convenient and more affordable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline will begin offering reservations for its new travel options starting August 16 and will launch a completely revamped passenger experience on August 27, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re unveiling a new era in Spirit&#8217;s history and taking low-fare travel to new heights with enhanced options that are unlike anything we&#8217;ve offered before,&#8221; said Ted Christie, Spirit&#8217;s President and Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/07\/alaska-airlines-announces-major-expansion-of-first-class-and-premium-seating.html\">Alaska Airlines announces major expansion of First Class and Premium seating<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Travel Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a historic moment for low-cost travel, Spirit will offer its customers the option to choose a premium experience at an unbeatable price, which will complement additional options, ranging from premium to economy, to meet the needs of all travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The four new travel options include: <strong>Go Big, Go Comfy, Go Savvy and Go.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Go Big<\/strong> delivers the best value in the sky and includes a Big Front Seat\u00ae, snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, one carry-on bag, one checked bag, priority check-in and boarding, and streaming access through the fastest Wi-Fi of any U.S.-based airline.* The Big Front Seat features enhanced comfort with wider seats, extra legroom, additional seat cushioning and no middle seat. Go Big will be available to book and experience starting Aug. 16, with snacks and drinks included and priority check-in launching on Aug. 27.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go Comfy<\/strong> is a brand-new seating option that offers increased comfort and space with a guaranteed blocked middle seat, one carry-on bag, one checked bag, priority boarding, and a snack and non-alcoholic beverage. Go Comfy will be available to book starting Aug. 16 and experience beginning Aug. 27.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go Savvy<\/strong> provides the choice of either one carry-on bag or one checked bag and standard seat selection during booking. Go Savvy will be available to book and experience starting Aug. 16.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go<\/strong> offers the greatest affordability for those who want to keep it simple with the flexibility to purchase any of the following options: checked bags, standard seat selection, Wi-Fi, and snacks and beverages. Go will be available to book and experience beginning Aug. 16.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Designated Priority Check-In<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Spirit will debut a priority check-in experience on Aug. 27 for Guests who opt to Go Big or are Free Spirit\u00ae Gold members or Free Spirit World Elite Mastercard holders at more than 20 airports including Atlanta, Cancun, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Newark, New York-LaGuardia and Orlando. This dedicated lane will provide front-of-the-line access to the first available ticket counter agent for Guests to breeze through check-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enhanced Boarding Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Guests will benefit from a more seamless journey with Spirit&#8217;s new boarding process starting Aug. 27. The redesigned process will include five groups that aim to reduce boarding time and enhance operational performance. Priority boarding will be available for Guests who choose the Go Big and Go Comfy options, Free Spirit Gold and Silver members, Free Spirit World Elite Mastercard holders and active-duty U.S. service members, and their spouses and children when traveling with the service member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expanding Guest-Friendly Policies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Spirit previously announced exciting new Guest benefits that add value and provide industry-leading flexibility:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No change or cancellation fees for all Guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased checked bag weight allowance up to 50 pounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extended Future Travel Vouchers expiration to 12 months (for vouchers issued on or after June 3,
