Spain’s Volotea<\/strong> continues its expansion with the opening of its tenth base in France, specifically in the city of Rodez. This new base is established as a result of the tender for the Paris-Orly route, which the airline has been awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volotea has won the tender to ensure the territorial continuity of the connection between the airports of Rodez-Aveyron and Paris-Orly. With this new route from the Paris airport, the airline will connect the French capital with eight destinations: Bilbao, Ancona, Geneva, Olbia, Turin, Verona, Lourdes and Rodez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the new route between Rodez-Aveyron and Paris-Orly, which opens on September 2, Volotea will offer 178,000 seats in 2025 on a frequency of 11 flights per week, two daily flights from Monday to Friday and one flight on Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are very pleased with the outcome of this tender, as the possibility of connecting Rodez-Aveyron with Paris-Orly represents an excellent opportunity to continue our growth objective in the French market and reinforces our commitment to the connectivity of our main market,” commented Carlos Mu\u00f1oz, founder and CEO of Volotea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodez will be Volotea’s tenth base in France, joining Brest, Bordeaux Strasbourg, Lille, Lourdes, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and Toulouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
